Presentations were made by Bega MP Andrew Constance and Mayor Kristy McBain.
President of the Evans Park Committee Russell Hodges said as "the first of any public facility in Kalaru...we are witnessing a significant milestone in the history of the village".
"The Evans Park Committee are very proud of this achievement and extend all credit to Adam Wiggins who initiated the state government grant and project managed construction from commencement to completion.
"We are grateful to all individuals and organisations who assisted with this project, many who donated all or part of their time and resources. We also acknowledge the hard work and diligence of our previous presidents, John Stafford and Peter Davis and their respective committees.
"It would be wonderful to have a Kalaru junior soccer or cricket club, or perhaps netball or tennis courts. We have a blank canvas. Let us plan on our kids having lifelong memories of the fun they had at Evans Park growing up.
"Thank you to all who contributed to the amenities block - and to all who help with our next project."
