The fifth Raise the Roof Spring Fair is on Sunday, October 27 from 10am to 2pm at the old hospital at 3 Corkhill Place, Bega.
The community fun day is for all ages and features attractions such as open studios and workshops, stalls, entertainment, demonstrations and kids' activities.
But a highlight will be the Vegemite cooking competition, the challenge of which is to use at least one dessert spoon of Vegemite in your recipe for muffins, biscuits, scones, brownies or cup cakes.
The Friends of the Old Bega Hospital hope to publish a book of Vegemite recipes to raise funds for the old hospital's community and cultural centre.
Entry forms are available online by clicking here or visiting the Bega Heritage Centre, Bega TAFE, Bega library and on the day of the fair.
There are two age groups: Vegemite muffins and biscuits for competitors aged under 14 and Vegemite scones, brownies, muffins and cup cakes for competitors aged over 14.
Judging will take place at 11.30am at the fair.
