Much-loved author Anna Buck had penned the column every week since 1988 but called time in September 2018 to focus on a battle with cancer, a fight she sadly lost a month later.
Husband Bob posted a tribute on Facebook this week, saying he was among the many who are missing the weekly goings-on in the Bega Valley from "Our Anna" - even if he was often the target of her wit as the "Man Of The House".
"Anna loved the beautiful and simple things of life - animals, plants and the changing of the seasons in nature - which she captured each week with the tongue-in-cheek Annagrams.
"On behalf of all your readers thank you so much for the 30 years of stories. Your beloved MOTH. Always."
