On Thursday, students from Delegate and Bombala Public Schools participated in a number of activities with the theme 'Destination Moon' recognising the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.
Bombala school principal, Jo Tozer said the students were enthralled with activities that explored earth and space and looked at the moon's core layers through food chemistry.
Students also investigated the molecular composition of gases and liquids in space; looked at the moon's orbit by creating a conductive circuitry system and also learnt about regeneration by planting native trees.
"The students particularly enjoying making some rather yummy, edible delights," Ms Tozer said..
Thanks goes to Ms Hannah Bucholtz, Ms Barrow, Mrs Selina McKinnell and everyone that helped make National Science Week fun while learning.
