It takes a special kind of event to drag people away from the warmth of their fires on a mid winter's eve and Eden's first 'Food Truck Friday' proved to be that type of event.

The atmosphere at Eden's Cocora Beach at sundown was reminiscent of a magical faraway fairy feast. A huge crowd of people mingled and picnicked delighting in the delicacies that were on offer from the dozen or so speciality food trucks peppered around the outskirts of the picnic grounds.
Underneath a string of fairy lights, songstress Erin McMahon's dulcet tones filled the air as revellers kicked back on picnic blankets warming their cockles with mulled wine, while others warmed themselves over the fire pits.
In between bites and recommendations of which tasty morsel should be devoured next, people could be heard saying things like how relaxed they felt and how nice it was to gather like this. Even those eating alone said they were eating in good company.
Good food and good company all under a starry Eden sky what more could anyone want?
