Eden businesses have swept up a couple of major gongs at the Southern NSW Regional Tourism Awards held in Ulladulla on Wednesday afternoon.
Twofold Aboriginal Corporation and South East Arts took home a gold for the inaugural Giiyong Festival which took place at Jigamy in September last year.
They took to Facebook to announce the top award in the Festivals and Events category.
"Thanks to all our artists, volunteers, vendors, patrons, sponsors, donors everybody."
Meanwhile, Kiah Wilderness Tours is also travelling home with a shiny silver in eco-tourism.
Kiah Wilderness Tours operator Jenny Robb said they were thrilled with the award.
"It's fantastic given the size of the region," said Ms Robb, who travelled to Ulladulla for the announcement.
"We didn't know what to expect, we were thrilled to be finalists, but to get silver is fantastic."
Nominations were invited from various destination networks in NSW including Country and Outback, North Coast, Riverina Murray, Southern NSW, Sydney Surrounds North and Sydney Surrounds South.
The program rewards businesses that demonstrate significant achievement throughout the year, showcasing a variety of tourism products and businesses delivering outstanding service to guests in NSW.
Regional Tourism Awards winners will progress to the NSW Tourism Awards where they may then progress to the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
