Between 10am and 2pm snow gear will be on sale in the car park and there will be other great deals, including 50 per cent off all stock in the shop, books, CDs and DVDs on sale for $1, new makeup and nail polish on sale for $1 each, and lucky dips for kids.
Candelo Karate Club will be hosting a sausage sizzle, and the annual Winter Appeal Blanket Ride is set to occur at the same time.
"This sale is anticipated to bring in much-needed funds to support the Vinnies Winter Appeal. The more that people shop at Vinnies, the more we can give back to the community," said Simon Felgate, operations manager for St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn.
The snow gear includes plenty of ex-hire clothing donated by snow field businesses. Stock includes everything from boots to gloves, all-in-ones, bib n brace overalls, coats, beanies and more.
"We are also very grateful for the ongoing support of the Bega Valley Motorcycle Expo who support us each year with their blanket ride.
"Our members and volunteers provide these donated blankets and other warm items to the thousands of people who turn to Vinnies for help each year.
"Last year in Bega our members provided assistance, including help with food and energy bills, to 635 people experiencing disadvantage," Mr Felgate said.
Vinnies Bega is located at 130 Gipps St, with the sale running from 10am until 2pm.
