For this month's Men's Breakfast we again have something special. Representatives of the Kairos social aid organisation are travelling down from Wollongong to speak to us about the great work they do, and their presentation will certainly be interesting and informative.

After our breakfast, the Kairos people will hold a further more detailed session and discussion in our hall. This will be open to anyone in our community with an interest in social support and justice, including any of our group who would like to stay.
Again we look forward to seeing you (and any mates) at 8am at St John's Church Hall on May 4. The open discussion will start at 9.30am.
Bega Evening VIEW Club
Bega Evening VIEW Club will hold its May dinner meeting at Littleton Cafe, next Thursday, May 9, at 6pm for 6.30pm. Bookings are essential, please phone Lyn on 64921631 by 6pm Monday, May 6. Please inform Lyn at the time of booking if you have any special dietary needs, caterers need to know when the numbers are finalised.
There will be no guest speaker at this dinner, as it is our Mother's Day dinner, so members are asked to bring a photo of your mother, or one of your mother's favourite recipes, or poems, to share around your table, or with the whole room.
Don't forget the usual Mother's Day tradition and bring your mother, or your daughter, and if you can't bring either of these then bring a relative or a friend.
A wonderful night was had by all at last month's 40th birthday celebrations, and our Mayor Kristy McBain was very entertaining.
VIEW Club is a leading women's volunteer organisation and support network that empowers women to have their voices heard on issues of importance for the future wellbeing of Australian society.
