Results for Thursday, March 14 - an Irish Four-ball split sixes Stableford sponsored by Bermagui member Benji Hanlon now living back home in Ireland.
It's a game where friendships are tested on the final six holes when all four scores of the playing group are tallied together.
The team of Brian Kenyon, Bruce Blair, Geoff Vercoe and Bill Beaumont survived a countback to win the Irish delights with a great score of 118.
They relegated the apparently more photogenic team of Ron Lye, Arthur Worthley, Derek Quinto and Derek Nash into second place who also finished on 118.
One shot back for 3rd place on 117 was the team of Bob Paine, Bill McKenzie, Ross Simpson and John Moore.
Balls were awarded down to those teams on 115 points.
Results for Saturday, March 16, Stableford:
The winner in A grade was Paul Revill (hcp 8) with a best-of-the-day 37 points. Runner-up was Javana Fereti (hcp 2) on 35 points shading Derek Quinto (hcp 14) on 33.
The B grade win went to Tim Holdsworth (hcp 18) with 35 points. Then came Ross Simpson on 34 and visitor John Moore on 32.
