Council has a $15 million capital works program to deliver over the next three years.
Council will partner with local contractors to ensure the successful delivery of these important community projects and the information session is to assist local contractors wishing to do business with the council.
“We understand some contractors may be a bit confused when it comes to providing quotes and the tendering process for projects,” Council’s Group Manager Asset Management and Engineering, Linda Nicholson, said.
“The session is aimed at helping contractors understand how to do business with Council.”
The Bombala session will include: a review of the quoting/tender process, inspecting a blank contract document and the assessment process for tenders.
Potential contractors will be taken through the upcoming works program and estimated timeframes for the delivery of some of the projects.
Council staff will be on hand to answer questions, and you can meet the economic development team who will provide support to contractors with the Vendor Panel process.
