Potoroo Palace has again been deeply moved by the generosity of supporters of the sanctuary’s work.
It is less than two months since friends Jasmin and Alina paid an unexpected visit to the sanctuary. After initiating a plan and raising by themselves the sum of $150, it was then generously handed over as a donation to the sanctuary.
Jasmin wanted to do something to help wildlife and worked out a way to get the best returns for her innovative money raising venture – selling caramel popcorn to her friends.
Jasmin made another appearance more recently, this time with her family as part of yet another generous donation. This time for $500!
The Irving family are supporters and regular visitors of the sanctuary and have been keen to show their love and appreciation for the charity’s mission of conservation, education and community.
“It warms our hearts to be supported by the community in this way, and to see such beautiful and enterprising young people valuing our precious wildlife and being so kind. We couldn’t do this work without our community,” founder Alexandra Seddon said.
The staff of Potoroo Palace would like to thank all their supporters over the years and wish everyone a very safe New Year.
Remember to drive safely and with extra vigilance. Increased traffic means increased risk to both wildlife and people on our roads.
