The weekend is designed for learning, and helping young people in the region become involved in a rural community activity.
Society president Norm Pearce said the weekend will be full of entertainment for the whole family.
A barbecue will be running across the two days with free entry at the gate.
Mr Pearce said the weekend begins with a debutant ball, featuring 17 debs and their partners, on Friday night with the theme of the night based on the 1961 American romantic comedy Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Music will be provided by local band Thundergoose.
The weekend’s showjumping schedule begins at 9.00am on Saturday, with Greg Grant, Kirsty McPaul and the Bega Showjump Club providing two full days of showjumping in the two rings at Bega Showground.
On Saturday afternoon the judging of the junior poultry show begin.
The dairy heifers for the Sunday show will be arriving, and at 2pm onwards there will be the special updating of the brands on the bar wall.
Any farming family with old registered stock brands are invited to bring their brands in to Noel Watson.
Mr Watson will have his firepits tinking over to heat your brand.
During the afternoon local Tarraganda Rural Youth members will join Narooma High school students and other young people for a workshop on horses, sheep, poultry and dairy cattle.
Master of entertainment Brett Rogers will be along to entertain the children with some fun activities before dinner.
The show society will also have representatives of ASC Youth Gen group sharing some stories.
On Saturday night there will be crepes and jam around the fire pits and billy tea.
Sunday sees a busy program, with all breeds dairy heifers, showjumping and poultry events from 9.00am.
More than 80 head of cattle featured in last year’s Bega Spring Calf Show, with judge Callum McFee travelling more than seven hours from the Riverina for the day.
