Downed power lines at Wandella grass fire

A 128 hectare grass fire at Wandella is being controlled by NSW Rural Fire Service firefighters.

An RFS spokesperson said access to Wandella Rd had been restricted due to downed power lines across a fence and access way, after firefighters were called just after 4am on Tuesday, August 7.

The spokesperson said the fire was contained at 11.56am, with 32 firefighters and 16 trucks tackling the blaze on the edge of Kooraban National Park.
