The block will receive $5000 from IMB as part of an IMB Bank Community Foundation Grant, while CEFE will use proceeds from the group’s solar farm to provide $3000.
The money will go towards a solar unit and batteries that will power the lights and a pump at the block.
“The Evans Park committee are incredibly grateful,” committee president Russell Hodges said.
He said the project had been brought together by the committee’s Bianca Horsfall and Adam Wiggins.
“The closest toilets are Tathra or Bega, and that’s just silly,” Ms Horsfall said.
The slab for the block is down and it is hoped the toilets will open in September.
