Quilting has helped Braidwood’s Jenny Wallace through the most difficult times in her life, and she now uses the art form to “bring joy to others”.
Her quilts were among the dozens donated on Friday, when her group visited Tathra.
“I stitch a little bit of myself in every quilt,” she said.
She has made more than 300 over the last 25 years, and regularly sends them to people across Australia whose lives have been devastated by natural disasters.
“I hope people get the feeling they are loved and not forgotten,” Ms Wallace said.
“I can’t even imagine how people feel, it’s so cruel.”
