Well-known country music and cabaret performers Ilona Harker and Gleny Rae are presenting a fascinating musical show about the forgotten history of female Australian bushrangers. Using historical accounts and original songs, The Daughters of the Rum Rebellion weaves a tale of the daring female bushrangers who roamed colonial Australia, but who are largely overlooked in history books. Daughters of the Rum Rebellion will be performed as part of the Candelo Arts Society Music and Variety night on Friday, April 20, at the Candelo General Store at 7.30pm. Food and drink available from 6pm.
