There is a wide range of support services available for free, but you have to register first.
If you are unsure, head along anyway and find out if you are eligible for assistance.
Examples could includes homes that have smoke, exterior or any other sorts of damage; or residents impacted by the evacuation of homes and businesses. Depending on your current and future circumstances, you may be eligible for a range of support services and information.
Services available at the Recovery Centre in Bega include Insurance Council representatives, counselling services, Health NSW and Safe Work NSW, Legal Aid, Disaster Welfare for low income earners, Red Cross, Business Connect and FACS/Housing NSW.
Registration is confidential and straightforward – and there is a tea/coffee station and kids’ play area set up in case you have to wait.
