Committee secretary, Jenni Moreing said the audience was made up of a good mix of locals and travellers.
“Cathcart continues to be a popular stop-off for those country music fans who travel from show to show around Australia, with their numbers growing each year.
“The top quality entertainment rocked the hall well into the early hours of Sunday morning, not winding up until around 2.30am,” she said.
Attendee’s were not only treated to a night of fabulous entertainment, they were also treated to a high quality dinner and supper.
“The committee would like to thank all of the community for their usual generous donation of food and time to create the outstanding meals and deliver the hospitality they are so famous for,” Ms Moreing said.
“The quality of artists performing this year continued to be outstanding and they never cease to amaze.
“The committee would once again like to sincerely thank each and every one for the generous donation of their time and excellent talents to make this major fundraiser for the hall the outstanding success that it is.
“The continued improvements we have been able to do to the hall have not only made catering for these events so much easier but have improved the comfort of those attending functions here.
“Our latest improvement, the new kitchen is truly appreciated by all and the shelter again proved to be an excellent place to enjoy dining alfresco during the dinner and supper breaks,” Ms Moreing said.
