Forty-seven students graduated in business, commerce, the arts and social sciences, nursing and teaching from the campus this year.
The presentation took place inside the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre on Friday, December 8.
Bega campus manager Sam Avitaia congratulated the new graduates.
"Four hundred and fifty students have now graduated from the University of Wollongong Bega campus,” she said.
“They are all working in all facets of our community, from teaching and community services through to business and tourism - they will help shape the future of the Bega Valley, and it couldn't be in better hands.”
Bega MP Andrew Constance, Bega Valley Shire Council general manager Leanne Barnes and mayor Kristy McBain joined the university’s Dr Kimberley McMahon-Coleman, Professor Paul Chandler, Professor Tracey Moroney and Dr Steven Capaldo in the celebrations on the day.
“In many ways today is not about just saying congratulations, but saying thank you,” Mr Constance said.
“It’s about saying thank you for taking that step, and working towards a better community. The sense of ownership of or community is incredibly important, it reflects in our volunteerism, it reflects in our desire to see fantastic outcomes.”
