In NSW, 4.1million people voted, with a Yes vote majority of 57.8 per cent.
In the electorate of Eden-Monaro, we topped both those percentages with a clear statement to the federal government that 64.9 per cent us approve of same-sex marriage.
ABS stats show 88,398 residents of Eden-Monaro voted in the survey – an 80 per cent return rate from the reported 110,000 residents of voting age.

In neighbouring Gilmore, 62 per cent voted Yes, while in outspoken No-campaigner and former Prime Minster Tony Abbott’s seat of Warringah, 75 per cent of his constituents said Yes to same-sex marriage.
Blaxland in western Sydney was the heartland for No voters at 73.9 per cent in the negative, while topping the Yes vote with 83.7 per cent was both Sydney and Melbourne.
