Artist Julie Krone, who was at Friday’s opening, said this year’s exhibition received more entries than any previous year.
“I thought it was a good opening with a lot of the community coming along, I think the youngest was two-years-old,” Ms Krone said.
“There was a variety of expertise entered, from professional artists, school children and Tulgeen Disability Services’ Art in the Garage.”
Winner of the overall competition was Claudia Tasche with her piece Splash, with Miriam Kydd’s African Music taking second place.
“We just had a couple visiting from Melbourne who really enjoyed it because they don’t get the community experience there,” Ms Krone said.
