Men of League bowls day
There is a Men of League bowls day on Saturday, March 11 at the Bombala RSL Club. The day kicks of at 1pm and the RSL bus will pick people up from around the area between 11.45am and 12.45pm.

Throughout the day there will be games of bowls and a raffle for a whole butchered lamb. There will also be an auction for some Men of League memorabilia .
The day costs $25 per head which includes a barbecue afterwards. U18s should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. So come along and have a fun day.
Golf
On Wednesday the Bombala ladies played a Stroke for Club Trophy and the start of the Eclectic. The winner was Di Ingram with 76 nett. Balls were won by Jean McLean 78 nett, Betty Crawford 79 nett. New player Heather Brown was excited to score the first gobbler for the season on the 12th. Good luck for many more Heather.
Bombala was the venue for the second round of the pennants on Saturday. Delegate defeated Jindabyne/Coolamatong 3/2. Bombala defeated Nimmitabel/Bombala 5/0.
Simon Stephen was the winner of the competition with a score of 39 pts. Ball winners were Simon 39 pts, Joel Cherry 38 pts, Ray Fermor 37 pts, Pepper Thompson 36 pts, Brendan Weston 34 pts, Coopy Baker 33 pts, Nick Flower 33 pts, Ross Brown 33 pts. NTP: Joel Cherry.
Sunday Members played a Stableford for G. Hampshire Trophy. The winner was Phillip McIntosh 39 pts. Balls went to Tosh, Brendan Weston 36 pts, Ray Fermor 35 pts, Ross Brown 34 pts on a c/b from P Thompson. NTP was not won.

Bowls
On Sunday, February 12, Pennants v Candelo was washed out as was the Monaro Shield v Cooma both these games will now be rescheduled for later in the season.
Wednesday, February 15, social B Beileiter, J Adamson and R Dent def A Dent, Chris X and P Williams 23-22. It was great to see Athol back on the green.
