The fifth annual Bermagui duck race was held on the Bermagui River on Sunday by the Cancer Research Advocate Bikers or CRABs.

1000 ducks were set free just upstream from the bridge and the first to go under the bridge was declared the winner.
Winning duck #60 was held by Sheree Hurst who won $300, while second place duck #243 was held by Sharon Wotton who won $150. Last place duck #779 was held by Amy Fraser who won $50.
Duck #119 who went missing in a previous race is still on his travels around the world raising awareness for the CRABs so keep an eye out.
The day was also an opportunity for the CRABs to hand over $15,000 to the Cancer Council and $5000 to CanAssist.
