Held in May each year, over 4000 senior high school students from south-east NSW have benefited from the RYDA Program.
Students from Bombala High School joined Bega students on the first day of the three-day Bega program, Tuesday, May 10.
Coordinated by local Rotary Clubs, Road Safety Education is a national not for profit organisation committed to reducing road trauma by educating young people in high school through its youth safety awareness program RYDA.
RYDA targets 16-18 year old high school students when they are starting to drive or ride in vehicles driven by their friends.
The RYDA program is a community based initiative coordinated through local Rotary Clubs.
Participating this week are senior students from Bombala, Bega, Pambula Eden, Cooma, Jindabyne and Cann River.
