Great autumn weather at Tathra Beach Country Club last Tuesday saw 28 ladies play a 4BBB Stroke. The winners on a countback were Pam Laurie and Narelle Harrison from Denise Falvey and Bridget O’Reilly, both with 66 points.

Balls went down the line to 71 and five pairs each received a ball. NTP’s were won by Sue Howland 9th, Faye Nicholson 18th, and Pam Laurie 14th. The trophy donor was Rhonda Castellari.
Last Saturday was a Stableford with the winner Sharon Somerville scoring 32pts. Wendy Dunn was R/U on 30pts. Balls went to 27 with 9 players successful. Marnie Nicholson was NTP on the 9th, there was no winner on the 14th, and Rhonda Castellari once again was nearest on the 18th.
Last Monday the Nine-Holers had a bumper field of 32 and played a Stableford. They welcomed Sharon Whiting, Marie Watson, Sheila Schilling and Janice Banfield visitors from Bega. Winners were Deirdre Fenelly, Sylvie Davey. Jaunita Trent, Denise Glover & Robyn Hanrahan. Next week will be Mystery Holes, turn up at 8.15.
Both teams this week play their Pennant Matches at Pam/Mer. Div. 1 play Eden and the Open Div. meet Bega. A new Pennant player Carney Bower was very excited and savoured her first Pennant win at Bega last week, well done.
The Ladies, Men’s & Country Club have made a donation of $500 towards Hillgrove House’s new extensions.
Next Saturday is a Stableford and Tuesday the 1st round of the Foursomes Championships. Happy Golfing.
