The withdrawal left Wolumla’s first grade gameless, while the Tigresses trumped the visiting Mallacoota women 12-0.
Meanwhile, Sunday’s games had mixed results for the Bega Devils senior grades as the women came off second best in a 5-2 clash, while the first grade drew 2-2 with the Pambula Penguins.
Tathra’s senior grades continued to assert their early dominance of the competition over Merimbula.
The women’s roster had a comprehensive 4-1 win to stay on top of the association ladder.
Melissa Pellow and Lily Townsend proved dangerous as the pair kicked two goals each.
The men’s team also had a solid win with a 3-1 showing over the Merimbula squad.
The United club had led 2-1 at the half-time break.
Hallam Bricacheck was making inroads in the Merimbula goal box, but a foul saw Tathra awarded a free kick.
Ben Deighan converted the dot shot to win the match 3-1.
Tathra’s reserves scored a late goal int the second half to level 1-1 with Merimbula and remain undefeated at home.
Meanwhile, the Devils travelled to Merimbula for their matches against the Pambula Penguins.
The women’s Penguinettes squad proved too strong for the Devils on the day to win 5-2.
In the first grade clash the two clubs were evenly matched and the final siren sounded with the score deadlocked at 2-2.
At games in Wolumla the Tigresses took on Mallacoota.
At full strength for the first time in weeks, the home club made short work of the visitors to win 12-0.
Amy Legge scored a double, while Anna Martin was able to kick her first goal in the strong showing.
