In the past few years he was travelling and busking a lot in the streets of Germany and the world.
Busking has always been a great passion of the guy with the red guitar and a cap on his head, which has become kind of a trademark during the years.
In 2009 he made the decision to become a fulltime-musician.
Since then he has played lots of gigs in venues, at small festivals, private events and was part of a professional theatrical production of “The Graduate”, where he was live-performing songs of Simon and Garfunkel in almost 100 shows.
Schumacher’s first professional album “Incessant On Its Way” was released with his own record label “sumsaRecords” in 2012.
The record had been produced in collaboration with the sound engineer and musician Alexander Collatz in his hometown Cologne, Germany.
When he arrived in Australia in January 2015, Schumacher bought a car and started travelling along the coast but fate intervened with his car breaking down a couple of times in Batemans Bay and Moruya.
Now he has decided to travel another time, put his focus back on the music and enjoy performing it in this beautiful place on earth.
Beside cover songs of Oasis, Travis, Damien Rice, Cat Stevens, Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd and R.E.M, Schumacher has got a couple of originals.
The sound is affected by his powerful, energetic but even sensible voice, coming along with the typical sound of an acoustic guitar.
Schumacher will play at Club Bega on Saturday from 6pm.
