Triathlon
The Mini-Triathlon has now become a staple of our local Australia Day Celebrations, and in fact is the first activity to kick things off on our special Aussie Saturday.
The triathlon will be for teams of three only, but don’t worry if you don’t have a couple of mates keen to take part, teams can be made up on the day, just turn up and you’ll be made part of a terrific trio!
There will be categories for several different age groups, with the first event commencing at 9am at the Bombala Swimming Pool.
All events will kick off with the swim leg, followed by the running leg around the Bombala River Walking Track and conclude with the cycling leg around Apex Park.
The program is as follows –

Obviously there are some great prizes up for grabs, so start warming up for the January 24, 2015 Australia Day Bombala Mini-Triathlon.
Oz Tag
Adding even more action to our Australia Day, there will once again be an Oz Tag comp enjoyed at our annual celebrations.
This will be a mixed competition for the Under 18s, with some pretty impressive prize money up for grabs for the winning team.
Those young players interested in taking part simply need to get their names to Maree Ingram on the day, and teams will be formed just before play begins.
Kick off should be around midday and a fun round robin is expected, so make sure you track down Maree and join a team on January 24.
