The morning started with Mass at 10am, celebrated by Archbishop Christopher Prowes, and assisted by Fr Byrne.
Parishioners then moved to the Parish Centre for a mouth-watering morning tea followed by a barbecue lunch and much chatter.
It was lovely to see our other local churches represented.
Many Sisters of St Joseph returned for this special occasion and the convents in Nimmity and Bombala were full to overflowing.
Those who were able to return were Sr Philomena, Sr Janet, Sr Timothy, Sr Rosemary and Sr Bridget from Eden, Sr Tess, Sr Wilga and Sr Bernadette from Nimmity and Sr Magdala from Cooma.
Sr Helen was unable to attend but phoned to wish us all the best for the day.
On Saturday afternoon the Josephite Associates held a prayer reflection which the Sisters attended together with president and secretary of the Associates, Leonie Bell and Beverley Badcock, from Sydney.
Everyone then enjoyed a meal at the Heritage.
A special thank you to all who helped in any way to make this an enjoyable occasion.
