Lynton Riddell defeated Terry Wilson in an epic final.
Spectators described the match as a “showcase of lawn bowls at its finest”.
After the 10th end, Riddell jumped out to a strong lead 11-3.
However, the game wasn’t his yet as Wilson was only one shot behind after the 16th end.
The scores levelled off 16-16 by the 21st end.
Wilson gained momentum and picked up a 29-20 lead.
However, not to be denied, Riddell clawed his way back into the game with some great draw bowling.
He claimed 11 shots over the next five ends to claim the title 31-29.
The club congratulates both players for a tremendous final played in great spirit.
