The under 18s also picked up a win over the Moruya Sharks.
The reserve grade, league -tag and first grade rugby league matches all went in Bega’s favour, despite being played on Narooma’s home ground.
First grade playing-coach Ryan Apps said it was an all-round team performance to claim the points.
“It was a great effort from the boys, a good team effort,” Apps said.
The Roosters played a hard and fast encounter to win 32-16.
Three players in Luke Dowdle, James Bower-Scott and Marty Scott-Thomas won the 18s match in Moruya, then backed up to play first grade Apps said.
“They’re keen, energetic young blokes who want to be there, it is good to see.”
Apps said the challenge was Narooma has a similar play-style.
“Narooma is a quick side, they’re like us, it was going to be a test of speed.
“We’ve got to be a lot more alert around the markers, they’re totally different to say Eden in the way they play their footy.
“It was a close game, the score blew out in the end, but it was a good battle and I can’t say we did it easy,” he said.
Apps said every player across the field was combining well in a single effort.
“The best thing about the team this year and how we’re going is it’s not everyone playing for themselves, everyone wants to play for the team,” Apps said.
“There isn’t those solo try efforts, it is usually solid work beforehand setting players up and being in the right position.”
Apps said he was impressed with the way the team worked together, with a few members working hard.
“Grant Jessop was good again, Todd Ingram was solid in the second row and Adam Blacka is improving with every game,” Apps said.
Bega has the bye this weekend and Apps said his team will use it to focus on a few key issues.
“We are improving each week, but there are still things we can do better.
“We have good up-front contact with players, we’ve just got to work a little bit on people coming in to assist with the tackle.
“And probably getting faster play-the-balls, that sort of thing.”
Despite topping the ladder, Apps said the first graders are focusing on their game plans and not getting cocky.
“We just want to concentrate on playing our game, if we can keep our heads on and do that we’ll have a good run to the end,” he said.
Meanwhile, the reserve grade again was able to shrug off a loss and overcome Narooma 40-32.
Club president Garry Arkin said it was a terrific effort to “turnaround last week’s disappointments” and claim the win.
“Special mention to captain-coach Steven Luff for his efforts,” Arkin said.
The win sees the reserve grade line-up solidify a spot in the top four.
Meanwhile, the Bega Chicks league-tag outfit is equal first and yet to be defeated.
Currently the Chicks have the competition’s strongest defence with no points posted against them.
The Chicks won their match over the Devilettes 32-0.
The under 18s clash in Moruya saw the Roosters give the Sharks a thrashing 46-22.
