The Foundation is being established in the local community where its formative committee says support for anxiety and depression is limited.
The day will involve family entertainment, fun activities, information stalls and a huge trades and services auction.
Donations to the auction have reached a total of $20,000, and registrations for this event will start at 12.30pm before auctioning begins at 2pm.
Some of the items donated to the auction include Magic Mountain Family passes, a Murramarang Resort accommodation package, Mogo Zoo passes, or a special visit from a Bega chef who will come and cook a three course meal for a family of four at your home.
Activities include egg and spoon races, tug of war and AFL kicking trials for young players.
Test how many Weet Bix you can eat with only one glass of milk, and Woods Bakery will be hosting a pie eating competition.
More competitions include pumpkin rolling and peel the Easter egg competitions.
Participants can try their hands at cake decorating, visit the Tarraganda Rural Youth Animal Nursery, see John and Andrew from the PCYC do some fitness boxing or witness the Light Horse display.
A ukulele jam session will be held in the tea rooms at the Bega Showground pavilion from 11.30am - there will be 10 ukuleles available or bring your own.
Giveaways will happen throughout the day, and children’s lucky dips will be given by special guests Donald Duck and friends
The Barker's wood raffle will be drawn at 2pm.
A bus will leave from Bemboka Pie Shop to the Family Fun Day at 9.30am, returning to Bemboka from the showground at 4pm.
No alcohol, or underage children without an attending adult will be permitted.
Admission is $20 per family and $5 for singles.
