The truck departed the port of Eden at 7am, carrying the lower tower section of one of the turbines, measuring approximately 29 metres in length and weighing a hefty 52 tonnes.
Transport is expected to continue throughout the week until Saturday.
CWP Renewables Pty Ltd Senior Development Officer Siobhan Isherwood said they anticipated three truck loads a day to make their way to the Nimmitabel wind farm site.
