ON THE beautiful grounds of the historic Tanja Public School the annual markets are being held once again.
Enjoy what the parents and pupils from Tanja Public School have created at a fundraising day that involves the whole community from 8.30am until 2.30pm on Saturday.
This year the organising committee has introduced a music stage.
The morning will start off with the Dan Scollay Choir, followed by other acoustic performances including student musicians.
Any interested performers will be welcome, and it will be a great opportunity to perform in an appreciative and relaxed environment.
There are plenty of other wonderful things to enjoy at the market stalls.
The eclectic treasures of the second-hand book stall to the jumble of new and used clothing.
Bega Valley Family Day Care will have its popular stall providing interesting activities for our youngest market goers plus surprise activities for the bigger kids.
The Tanja Public School pupils are producing wholesome foods from the fabulous school food garden and will be on hand, helping with all P&C stalls.
Food ranging from full dishes of nutritious salads and dahls, cakes, home-made pizzas, toffee apples and all day sausages sandwiches and egg and bacon rolls.
Unexpected and unique items from stallholders from far afield as Sydney will follow the market’s theme of “home made, home grown, recycled and sustainable”.
These school values, reflected in the Tanja Market, set this apart from other market days and organisers are proud to have created such a successful annual event.
Organisers are excited to create another enjoyable day supporting the children’s education and bringing together the talents of the local community and guests.
