This year the Bombala Council again welcomed a good number of entries into its annual Christmas Lights Competition, having boasted some solid cash prizes.
The competition was so tight this year, however, that some additional prizes had to be presented to acknowledge the brilliant displays entered!
Yes, the judges had a hard task ahead of them, but they eventually decided the winners based on everything from how creative the displays were, to how well they fitted into their setting.
The Best Residence category, worth $200, went to Travis and Alecia Jones of Forbes Street, while the $150 runner-up was Warren Martin in Wellington Street.
Meanwhile two third prizes of $75 were awarded to Tahlia Cottrell in Burton Street and the McKay residence of Delegate.
When it came to the $150 prize for Best Shopfront, it was Hair on Main Street that came out the winner.
The Bombala Council would like to sincerely thank all of those who put in the effort to decorate and enter the Christmas Lights Competition in 2013.
