In an exclusive for the program, NSW Police announced a $100,000 reward for any information that may help investigators solve her case.
As the episode retold, 53-year-old Ms Pajuczok vanished from a friend’s home at Rockton, near Bombala, on Christmas Eve, 2008.
Her disappearance sparked a comprehensive police search and investigation at the time, but with no trace of Sylvia being found, she is classed “missing, presumed dead”.
A Coroner’s Inquest is scheduled for December this year.
TV producers said the investigation into Sylvia’s whereabouts is expected to get a boost following the renewed media coverage through ‘Wanted’ and the newly announced reward.
Inspector Dave Kay and Det Senior Constable Phil McCloskey, along with and a number of Sylvia’s family members, were interviewed by the program for the updated story on the mother of three.
Detectives and other police were also in Bombala on the day of the screening to hand out a Missing Person flyer to further prompt the memories of those who may have seen Sylvia.
They will remain in town for the remainder of the week to speak with anyone who may have further information to assist with the case.
The Monday night ‘Wanted’ episode outlined how Sylvia left behind a number of personal items when she went missing, including her mobile phone, cigarettes, clothes and glasses.
“Sylvia’s bank account has not been accessed and she has not contacted family or friends since her disappearance,” Insp Kay said.
“When she disappeared, she was making plans for the future and this has prompted police and her family to believe she has met with foul play.
“Ms Pajuczok’s abandoned green Toyota Tarago van was located by police on the side of the Monaro Highway, around 10km south of Bombala on December 27, 2008.”
The episode also revealed that Police are looking for the owner of a white campervan that was parked outside Sylvia’s brother’s house at Rockton at the time.
“We expect new interest in the case will be generated now that the Wanted episode has been broadcast and the reward announced, and I’d appeal for anyone with information about Sylvia’s disappearance to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,” Inspector Kay said.
Those with information to share can also speak with Police in Bombala this week, or contribute anonymously online through the Crime Stoppers website.
