The Moruya Sharks are the 2013 Group 16 premiers after beating a very spirited Bega Roosters team 14-10 in a thrilling grand final at the Bega Recreation Ground on Sunday.

Aaron Brierley was named man of the match but it was more a team effort than an individual performance that bought the premiership trophy home to Moruya.
It was not to be for the Roosters in the first grade, having an uneasy 6-4 lead going into half time it was going to be a 40-minute battle to stay on top.
However, Moruya snuck away to a 14-10 lead and held Bega off for the remainder to win.
Earlier in the day the Bega Chicks were victorious over arch-rivals the Fillies 6-4 in the ladies league-tag, closing down Cooma's two-year strong winning streak. .
Tegan Mundy ran hard for the Chicks, scoring their only try of the match, while Joccoaa Rogers sent the conversion soaring between the posts to win the grand final on her 21st birthday.
The Eden Tigers were shown up in the reserve grade by a dominant Cooma Stallions outfit in a blowout 30-18 score line.
Eden posted a thrilling second half effort to come back from 24-0 down to score 18 points in quick succession, but with the clock counting down Eden was unable to bridge the gap.
In the under 18s, the Bluedogs were pipped at the post by Cooma 18-16 with a late penalty goal.
A penalty in the final minutes of the game saw the Stallions opt for a free kick and take the two points to win, despite a tremendous effort from the Bluedogs.
