An elderly couple is recovering after a car crash last week.
On February 1, an 87-year-old female and an 88-year-old man were flown to the Canberra Hospital after their car crashed down an embankment on the Cobargo-Bermagui Rd that afternoon.
While the woman was reported to be in a critical condition on Thursday, on Monday a hospital spokesperson said both of the car’s occupants were stable.
The woman had been flown to Canberra with multiple injuries while the man had a fractured arm with open wounds on the arm.
A Southern NSW Local Health District spokesperson had earlier said the man had an event at the wheel and had lost consciousness.
