THURSDAY 4.30PM: A Southern NSW Local Health District spokesperson said the 87-year-old female involved in the crash was in a critical condition and was transferred via helicopter to the Canberra Hospital on Wednesday night with multiple injuries.

The spokesperson said the 88-year-old man had an event at the wheel and had lost consciousness.
After the crash he was trapped in the car and had a fractured arm with open wounds on the arm. He was also transferred to the Canberra Hospital, but by fixed wing.
WEDNESDAY 6.30PM: A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash on the Cobargo-Bermagui Rd.
Police said about 3pm on Wednesday, a passer-by noticed a car had crashed down an embankment on a sharp corner towards the northern end of the road.
An elderly couple were inside and the scene was attended by police, NSW Rural Fire Service, ambulance and the Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA).
The man had to be cut out of the car by the VRA, but the woman managed to make it out of the vehicle.
Both were taken to the South East Regional Hospital.
A single lane of the road was closed for a time, but both were open about 5.10pm that afternoon.
