Giiyong - meaning 'come to welcome' - provides the opportunity for people in South East NSW to come together to learn about and celebrate Aboriginal arts, culture and resilience.
"Absolutely everyone from the community is welcome to join in this unique opportunity to be immersed in local Aboriginal culture," Giiyong communications manager Kate Howarth said.
The event will begin at 9.45am with a welcome to country and smoking ceremony and is an all day event finishing at 10pm.
There will be a multitude of events and activities to get involved with, from cultural workshops, film and dance, music, speeches, an arts market, native goods and food trucks.
Ms Howarth said in light of recent bad weather, she and other organisers were hopeful the weather would remain sunny for the weekend.
"Everything can go ahead and if there is rain we do have undercover seating available," she said.
"The only thing that is going to stop us is gale force winds and lightning."
Ms Howarth said to keep an eye on social media for any updates closer to the event.
Entry is by ticket only and online purchases is preferred, however tickets can be purchased at the gates.
