
A section of Upper Brogo Road west of Quaama has been reduced to single lane and the load limit is restricted to 22.5 tonnes after embankment damage occurred following recent heavy rain.
The damage is located 8.73km from the Princes Highway and Upper Brogo Road intersection.
Bega Valley Shire Council said traffic signs were in place and minor delays may be experienced during restoration works.
BVSC said the community would be informed of any traffic management updates when a construction timeline had been finalised.
Shire-wide restoration assessments following the recent flood declaration are underway.
Repair works will be conducted under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement, jointly funded by the Australian Government and NSW Government.
