Pop down to the Eden Wharf area from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, December 29 and Wednesday, January 5 to peruse the stalls, grab some dinner from the food trucks and enjoy a famous Snug Cove sunset.
Keep an eye out for the town crier welcoming visitors, and 2SEA Southern Community Radio who will be broadcasting live from the markets.
EVIC manager Clair Mudaliar said she was looking forward to being able to welcome back stallholders to utilise and enjoy the purpose built market stall area of the Eden Welcome Centre.
"We have a really great unique stallholder base that Cruise Eden has spent many years organising for the cruise ship markets, and they have missed out on so much over the last few years without those cruise ships," Clair said.
"It will provide some new items to Eden not showcased locally before and hopefully bring a little life back to the wharf area at what is undoubtedly the most beautiful time of day at Snug Cove."
EVIC has also welcomed Cove Coffee to the precinct, which began operating on Christmas Eve, serving up local Wild Rye's coffee in the building colonnade.
Cove Coffee, operated by Eden local Stacey Russell, was chosen after the coffee proposal was put out to tender and the EVIC board of management put applicants through a selection process based on professionalism, offering, and experience of the operator.
Cove Coffee's little coffee cart will be open seven days a week over the busy summer period as well as on market evenings and will be a fixture of the centre for at least the next 12 months.
Food trucks have once again mobilised to the wharf area this summer, bringing back fresh oysters, prawns and crayfish as well as newly added waffles, cakes and ice creams, all complimenting local operation Fry Daze serving up their famous local fish and chips.
