Owner Graham Chapman hadn't slept for three days when he spoke to the Bay Post on Monday, describing the latest setback to hit the south coast village as "just madness. Fires and flood events, this is the third flood event in two years".
Despite the latest setback Mr Chapman and his team hope to have Great Camping Adventures open again before the new year.
"We should be on track for December 27, that's our goal, we've worked pretty hard to recover some of the tents," he said.

Flooding hit the camping area in the early hours of Friday morning and by 5am the camp site was under water.
"It's heart breaking," Mr Chapman said.
"Some (of the tents) were destroyed. We've had to purchase some new tents and get some others in, all bedding has had to be re-purchased, stretcher beds, everything."
The tour operators also lost fridges and two marquees.
With the site booked heavily for the Friday night after the flooding the tents were set up and pegged to the ground ready to welcome visitors to the unique south coast experience.
"Those guests were to arrive at 3.30 that afternoon but they would have needed a boat," Mr Chapman said.
"The river flooded and then the tide came in and the river was flooding so high but the tents remained secure on the ground," he said.
While some of the tents could be saved Mr Chapman said all kitchen facilities were destroyed, "cooking utensils, everything".
"It's hard to put an exact cost on it now but it's probably around $20,000 worth of damage with seven tents lost," he said.
Great Camping Adventures has had to offer some refunds but Mr Chapman says "most people have been really good, a lot of people are just so supportive and want to come back to support the camp".
And the support has come locally as well.
"The amount of local volunteers that came out to help has just been incredible," he said.
"We've just got to rally. I haven't slept for three days, it's been so tiring we've literally been in scrubbing tents.
"The reason we're working so hard to get back and running is because it is such a popular product.
"People are coming from all over NSW to camp at the zoo and experience our overnight camping." he said.
