The transition will be a little different for these students than most as they remain on the same college campus. However the common theme in their thoughts shared via a video presentation was that they were all looking forward to exploring the new challenges high school will present, including multiple teachers and the wide range of subjects.
Year 6 teacher Myfanwy Russell thanked and congratulated her class for the wonderful year they have had together, before presenting them each with their own cushion - adorned with photos of the classmates - as a keepsake of their final year of primary school.
There were also special certificates issued to each of the students celebrating their best qualities as noted by their classmates and teachers.
Following the presentation formalities, the Year 6 students were treated to a shared dinner at the college's on-campus cafe.
