Only two A grade fixtures were completed and they both have significant ramifications for the makeup of the final's series.
In the southern pool Eden bounced back from their big loss in round two to beat Merimbula. Eden's top order of Drew Mudaliar (24); Rahul Mudaliar (45) and Matt Bell (52) did the damage setting Merimbula 151 for victory. Merimbula couldn't get going and ended their 20 overs 5/122 with Brendan Daley (33) and Beau Bennett (27) the pick of the batters.
Tathra were the only team from the Northern pool to get a game in and made short work of Pambula, chasing down the total of 102 inside 15 overs. Adam Blacka with 35 off 26 balls opened the batting and took the game away from Pambula early with Jayden Heyhorn finishing the innings off with 28 off 16 balls.
These results make the southern pool very closely contested with Wolumla on top with 24 points; and Eden and Pambula both on 20 points. Mallacoota hasn't had a game yet and aren't out of contention on 18 points, while Merimbula will need results to go their way in the final two rounds on 10 points.
In the Northern Pool Tathra are the only side to have played a game in the three rounds so far and they are on top of the pool ladder with 24 points. Bega/Angledale, Bermagui, Kameruka and Narooma all need to win their remaining two games and hope results work for them to make the finals.
