Phillip Leslie John Mason, 43, appeared at Bega Local Court on Tuesday November 23 via audio-visual link.
He pleaded guilty to three offences including not wearing a face mask while speaking with police and travelling in a car with people not from the same household.
The car was stopped in Benandarah, in the Eurobodalla Shire, on October 10 during stay-at-home orders that prevented him from travelling more than 5km from the Bega Valley Shire for non-essential reasons.
Mr Mason was convicted and fined $1000 for breaching the Public Health Order and fined another $1000 for not wearing a face mask.
On a separate matter, he also pleaded guilty and was convicted for driving while unlicensed.
For that he was given another $1000 fine and a three-month disqualification period.
In addition to the three fines, Mr Mason also has to pay $255 in court costs.
There were seven other matters listed for Mr Mason, relating to alleged possession of ammunition and unauthorised or unregistered firearms.
Mr Mason entered not guilty pleas for all seven charges and will reappear in Bega Local Court for hearing on January 12, 2022.
