Far South Coast AWL volunteers said they had 114 pets stop in on the day to get their photos taken with Santa.
"It was a great outcome and the families and friends that snuck into the pictures with their pets were well behaved," president of the AWLFSC branch Kerri Brady said.
Although the turnout was more conservative than other years, with 111 of the pets being dogs, three cats did poke their whiskers in to get a photo.
"We would like to thank our volunteers who helped on the day, our sponsors and to Angi High for her amazing photography," Ms Brady said.
Santa Paws has been running in the Bega Valley since 2009, and every year Santa is brought there by Mrs Claus who makes sure he "gets there on time and makes sure he gets home safe". Ms Brady said.
Bega locals Jemima Warnock and Trent Barber brought their pooches Pooki and Neymar for photos with Santa.
Ms Warnock said they'd been meaning to go for years but always managed to miss the event.
Mr Barber said they get their regular Christmas photos every year, but this was the first time they'd managed to get ones for their pets.
"We almost missed it this year as well, but made it just in time," Mr Barber said.
Ms Warnock said they really enjoyed getting their pets photographed with Santa and would be sure to make it a tradition.
"It was really cool and I loved their squeaky toy trick to get the dogs attention for the photo, that was genius," she said.
