I think you have left this way too long. Too many people homeless or under severe financial pressure to cope with the costs of renting due to the demand. 2036 is not soon enough. Bring the date closer. It can be done.

Unsustainable argument
Councillor Bain's claim that "forestry is a sustainable industry" is clearly based on her feelings rather than fact. Forestry Corporation has not complied with legal requirements of the Regional Forest Agreements, so claims of a sustainable industry cannot be substantiated.
Mayor Russell Fitzpatrick's claim that council's support for an unsustainable industry is in the public interest, is much like his claim that the Bermagui shotgun club is also in the public interest.
Due to the club's activities a pollution report was sent to council over a month ago. Council's failure to respond confirms noncompliance with its own Customer Service Policy. For its part the NSW Department of Planning, Investment and Environment (DPIE), has not defined a 'range danger area' for the club, despite its policy on shooting ranges.
The DPIE has also failed to establish whether the shotgun club is influencing the lack of genetic exchange between koalas north and south of the Murrah River, in the Murrah Flora Reserve. Rather, the DPIE is suggesting that koalas have adapted to dehydration and malnutrition.
Based on these ridiculous claims, the Forestry Corporation is apparently planning to resume unsustainable logging in the Murrah Flora Reserve.
With state and local elections coming up, it is in the public interest to ensure candidates who do not support transparent and open process, cannot demonstrate they are reasonable and are unable to sustain a cogent argument, are put last on the ballot.

Essential service
Vinnies is an essential service! Essential services are not allowed to discriminate. So refusing customers on their choice is breaking the disability act, discrimination act and privacy act. Shame on all companies that do this. Funny last year you were allowed now you're not.
Why are the vaccinated worried about unvaccinated? Obviously you are safe right?

Wildlife friendly bags
A wildlife friendly alternative to netting is using washing bags zipped over fruit you can reach leaving high fruit for wildlife including flying foxes. They are tough and cheap.
This is especially relevant for those over 50 years of age who are at statistically at greater risk of fall from ladders while installing and removing "whole of fruit tree" nets.
It's also good to remember that trees experience total cover nets as an attack and push shoots (and stress chemicals) through in a attempt to survive. Bags are by far the best option for you, the tree and for wildlife.

Lack of leadership
Scott Morrison was the only person accused of lying, not the Australian people. He confuses the issue and just demonstrates his very poor leadership skills.
