The motel was hired as an event space for the exhibition which featured a range of artists across 18 different rooms.
Artists and exhibitors were all given a motel room to display their works and so walking through each room was like entering into the mind of each creator.
All of the rooms also had its own unique character, with gaudy but very special retro bathrooms, which gave the artists additional space to play with and make the space their own.
There were artists from all over the Bega Valley Shire who exhibited their works and there was often elements of the local region very much integrated into their unique pieces.
The waterways were a feature of the artworks, as well as the Valley's mountains, or flora and fauna growing and thriving in their very own backyards.
The ocean showed its mighty waves and the light flickered on the lakes of the region in a number of exhibits.
Other artists poured their own strong values into their pieces, using only recycled, recovered, or found items in their work. A few artists had been to the tip to collect paint or op shops to collect cloth, garments, or timber scraps.
Other works were created using sustainable dyes, cloth, or materials, or otherwise printed on sustainable timber.
Director of the Bega Valley Regional Gallery and one of the primary organisers of the Art Fair Iain Dawson said the event was shaping up to be a big success for the Bega Valley arts community.
"It's a really great way to build the capacity of local artists to get them all together and people have been saying it's great that they can go to a one stop shop to see everything, and there's something for everyone."
"Everyone has really leant into doing something really special in each room and it's like a curated little gallery space where they're all like little jewel boxes and the good thing with the open glass windows is that you are kind of walking along a little street and looking into a gallery as well," he said.
