The Bega Chamber of Commerce revived its Outstanding Customer Service and Business Awards in 2019 after a hiatus of 13 years.
On Wednesday night at its 2021 annual general meeting, the Chamber officially launched the awards' return this year.
The event will be held in October at the Bega Showground Pavilion, with a throwback to the 1940s where post-war depression evolved into a renewed optimism with glitzy fashion and entertainment.
The Bega District Band will be presenting a big brass band and Andrews Sisters performance, while guests will arrive to a red carpet and "air raid" spotlights scanning the skies above.
Stay tuned for more details, but it's expected that nominations for the Customer Service and Business Awards will open in around three weeks.
